YZi Labs, the venture capital investment arm previously known as Binance Labs, has announced a $16 million investment in the blockchain token distribution infrastructure platform, Sign. This marks the company’s first investment following its rebranding.

Sign, founded in 2021, specializes in creating a transparent system for users and AI agents to access crypto tokens. The platform offers services such as:
- EthSign for contract signing,
- TokenTable for managing digital tokens
- Sign Protocol for verifying information on the blockchain
Nicola Wang, Chief Investment Officer at YZi Labs, highlighted that Sign’s vision for mass adoption of Web3 aligns with YZi Labs’ mission to drive innovation within the Web3 ecosystem. “Sign’s vision for mass adoption of Web3 aligns with our commitment to promoting transformational innovations and fostering innovation within and beyond the Web3 ecosystem,” Wang said in a press release.
This investment was part of a funding round that also saw participation from Altos Ventures, HackVC, and Amber Ventures. YZi Labs manages a portfolio of over 250 projects, including investments in companies like Sky Mavis, LayerZero, Aptos Labs, and Polygon.
